We participated in our first ever craft show at the Saturday Artisans Market this past Saturday. What a wonderful opportunity it was!!! We will be there two mores times this summer. Our next show is Saturday June 7th from 10am-5pm and then our last showing will be Saturday August 9th from 10am-5pm. Come check us out.
Allison added a new element to our inventory: headbands! You can see how flower blooms and beaded elements combine nicely in her designs:
In just two days, this is the collection of jewelry we created in preparation for Kairstin's jewelry home show for tomorrow!
After having a party less than a week before (Thanks Laurie Weiskopff!), we needed to boost our inventory. This is what we created! A favorite customer of ours provided us with this pendant that she received from her grandmother on her voyage to Thailand. Until now, it was used as a paperweight, now it is a beautiful piece of jewelry!
An evening out calls for a sophisticated pair of heals with just the right jewelry! This piece was designed for these Cinderella slippers with her favorite bloom in mind.
Holy Moly Canoli!
Allison and I have 3 super large events coming up in the next month! Our third home party at our friend Erica's. ...and two weeks after, we booked our first wedding party jewelry show for Shelly... ...one week after that, we have the South Buffalo Garden show in which we want to display some of our pieces.... ...not to mention all our special orders.... Feels great, but stressful! I often text Allison with one simple message: "Bead it!" We've got lots of jewelry art to create. :) I always thought it would be great if we had an "Allori Necklace". Something that was our signature piece that we could make duplicates of yet with changes in the small detail. Well, my dear Allison, did it. Bravo, Allison, I love it.
Ofcourse she made one in purple for herself, and another in green for me! Gotta love how the creative energies between us both, manifest into such a cool piece of art! I can't wait to make one of my own. Our first jewelry party was a huge hit!!! Everyone loved the jewelry. We had lots of sales and some special order requests. A special thank you to the hostess Sandy and her sister Mindy. Looking foward to the next party!
~Allison Tomorrow is our first home party! I have been prepping for days; Creating displays, preparing packaging, and tagging! It's a lot of work, I have to admit! But I am so excited! I am trying to see that the displays blend into the hostess' home. I envision the whole affair as having women sipping wine, mingling and shopping at our displays that are placed throughout the rooms that entertain. To capture this, I used frames to showcase our JEWELRY ART. Perfect, right? I also included jewelry boxes and jewelry trees. I especially love the vintage display with the birds. I also found really cute wooden trays at AC Moore and painted them purple, decorated them with paper flowers, a butterfly charm and a really cool tag that features a different word for each tray. Such as "wish", "muse", "love", "hold", etc. I thought we could incorporate the words into a party game. The word would be drawn from a basket by the hostess (perhaps attached to a bead) and the winner would receive a discount. Oh, the possibilities! Thank God for our creativity! A special thankyou to Erica for booking first, and Sandy for hostessing our first party!
